Noyce scholar in Prescott

Posted By Blake Sacha, Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Rio Salado College Noyce Scholars Program continues to be excited about the progress of the Noyce Scholar Program and recruitment efforts for their next cohort.  To date 28 scholars have participated in various stages of the program.  This last semester seven scholars were successfully teaching, inspiring, and engaging math or science students in secondary classrooms.  Several of these scholars will have been in the classroom for two years!

The link highlights the Noyce Scholar Program and business woman Lindsey Buckles who did her student teaching in the fall and started teaching 8th grade math in January.  The deadline for application for the next cohort is July 24, 2015.
