Water is the most compelling issue facing Arizona today. Bring this relevant topic into the classroom in ways that will excite students to dive into problem solving and think critically without even knowing they’re working.

  • Identify and solve real-world problems,
  • Experience a hands-on STEM unit that incorporates locally and globally relevant content related to:
    • Surface Water
    • Ground Water
    • Water Management
  • Incorporate ACCRS for Making Claims based on Evidence,
  • Implement Next Gen Science and Engineering Practices and Cross Cutting Concepts within STEM lessons,
  • Experience the Engineering design process,
  • Acquire new technology tools and skills.

Receive 18 professional development hours & exemplary Project WET lessons to use in your classroom.
