As a graduate teacher candidate enrolled in the May 2016 iTeachAZ Master’s in Elementary Education program or the May 2016 TEAMS Mesa Master’s in Secondary Education program, you may be eligible to receive SEED grant funding.

Prepare to teach math or science in a middle school or high school classroom—and earn $25,000 while you’re at it—with the Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant at the Arizona State University Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.

As a graduate teacher candidate enrolled in the May 2016 iTeachAZ Master’s in Elementary Education program or the May 2016 TEAMS Mesa Master’s in Secondary Education program, you may be eligible to receive SEED grant funding if you teach in one of these high-demand subject areas during your student teaching residency—part of the college’s innovative iTeachAZ program.

Candidates must pass one of the following exams in order to qualify for the SEED stipend: NES Middle Grades MathNES Middle Grades General ScienceNES MathematicsNES ChemistryNES PhysicsNES Biology, or NES Earth and Space Science. The ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College will host FREE NES Preparation Workshops in Spring 2016.
