In this introductory session, we will explore the design of A Framework for K-12 Science Education and evaluate the three dimensions that make up this research document.  We will also compare and contrast the Framework to our current Arizona State Standard and evaluate the connections between them.

This webinar is for those participants who have not previously attended one of the Bridging the Gap sessions.

Goals of the session:

  • Understand current research on science education
    • A Framework for K-12 Science Education
    • Learning Progressions
  • Analyze Arizona's current science standards 

Target Audience: K-12 science teachers, science coaches and specialists, administrators
