Arts, music, dance performances, family activities and more take over the streets of downtown Peoria.
The city of Peoria and Peoria Unified School District continue their partnership to bring a celebration of the arts with the Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival presented by SkyZone on Saturday, April 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Old Town Peoria and Osuna Park at 83rd and Grand avenues. Students will exhibit their artwork and perform dance routines, theater acts, choir performances and band concerts. Guests can also watch ceramics demonstrations, enjoy the kids zone, shop the craft vendors and take part in a charity silent auction. The silent auction features one-of-a-kind painted, designed or artistic chairs, created by artists and local groups. Additionally, there will be a “Chalk Zone” where children can do sidewalk chalk drawings. A variety of food trucks will be available for foods and refreshments. Some of the activities may require a small fee. For more information, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/specialevents.
