Science Foundation Arizona (SFAz) encourages Community College Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) that meet eligibility requirements to apply for Cohort 3 of the KickStarter Program with support by National Science Foundation (NSF HRD# 1450061).

The KickStarter Program is an intensive, comprehensive technical assistance program designed to prepare and position Community College HSIs to compete successfully for federal funds focused on student recruitment and retention in STEM fields. The KickStarter Program is targeted at Community College HSIs throughout the United States. Answers to FAQs are provided on the KickStarter webpage.

A small number of institutions will be selected by an independent Review Panel from the pool of applications based on college eligibility, responsiveness and application quality. Participation in the KickStarter technical assistance program is intended to develop the institution's competitive advantage in seeking STEM-related funding, leading to an improved capacity for successful STEM programs.

SFAz encourages you to apply for this unique opportunity to improve STEM futures for our students.  For complete details about applying for Cohort 3 of the KickStarter Program, please download SFAz's Call for Applications by clicking here.
