More and more of Arizona's 12th grade students are taking the ACT, while the percentage taking the SAT has remained similar over the years. Their scores are also below the college-ready benchmark

However, the average SAT math score for Arizona's 12th grade students has slightly increased since 2009, and is above the national average and meets or exceeds the college-ready benchmark.

Arizona's 12th grade students are more likely to have completed calculus than the national average, although they are less likely to have completed a physics course.

Over half of Arizona's 12th grade students intend to major in STEM, higher than the national average.
