Who Should Attend STEM Program Creation and Sustainability is for anyone interested in learning best practices for establishing a strong program vision and culture that inspires loyalty of its members and community. Morning Session: - Establishing Vision, Mission, and Core Values: Aligning the personal values of the individuals in your organization with those of the organization is critical for a successful program. - Creation of Goals and Objectives: . It is much easier for everyone to do their jobs and to support one another when there are clearly defined goals and objectives with everyone "rowing" in the same direction, - Determination of Curricular and Co-Curricular STEM activities: what are the curricular and co-curricular experiences you are going to give the members (teachers, students, parents, and business partners) of your organization? Afternoon Session: - Develop Real World Experiences: Creating real-world experiences such as, guest speakers, "being there" experiences, and relevant curriculum, benefiting teachers, students, schools, and business in many ways. - Program Sustainability: By intentionally developing systems that encourage others to create, understand, and evolve organizational values, the culture and values of an organization can be preserved in both tranquil and difficult times.
