Community Colleges Indicators
Arizona Indicators - Community College

As of 2011, Arizona was the state with the highest proportion of 18-24 year-olds with Associate's degrees in science, engineering and technology per 1,000 people. This is likely due to our strong community college system.

In our Maricopa County Community College system, STEM GPAs have been steadily rising since 2009 while the number of degrees earned has also steadily increased. The retention rate for STEM majors at Maricopa County's Community Colleges has also increased since 2009.
